At Atelier Angel Karagiozov, we place paramount importance on establishing and maintaining the provenance of our digital artworks. Our comprehensive authentication strategy combines industry-leading standards with blockchain technology to ensure complete transparency and verifiable authenticity of our creations. ## Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI) Integration We are proud members of the Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI), implementing their open-source SDK to provide cryptographic proof of our artworks' origins. Each piece we create includes a secure C2PA manifest that contains: - Creation history - Timestamped records - SHA256 cryptographic validation - Workflow documentation -Used tools - Exif geolocation data Through our custom NodeJS application, we embed these manifests directly into each artwork, creating an immutable record of its provenance. Transparency is essential to our ethos, and we openly acknowledge the role of AI in our creative process when applicable.
To further strengthen our authentication framework, we leverage Numbers Protocol's blockchain-based solution, which offers several key advantages:
- Creation of unique Numbers ID (Nid) for each artwork
- Immutable blockchain recording of creation and ownership history
- Integration with the Interplanetary File System (IPFS) for decentralized storage
- Web3 asset verification capabilities
- Exif geolocation data
- Transparent commit history tracking the modifications and the origin of the artwork
Numbers Protocol Blockchain

CAI's online verification tool offers valuable insights into the creation process by displaying manifest information and detailing the "ingredients" of a finished artwork.

* Note on Self-Signed Certificates: While our C2PA manifests may show as
"issued by an unknown source", this reflects our status as an independent studio rather than a large corporation. Rest assured that all our certificates are cryptographically valid and include verified timestamps.
