Content Authenticity Initiative

Atelier Angel Karagiozov places significant importance on the concept of provenance, both within the realm of the internet and the broader art world. Provenance—the recorded history of ownership of an object—is fundamental to establishing authenticity, value, and trust. In line with the principles of the Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI) and the technical implementation provided by C2PA, we believe in the necessity of transparent and verifiable information regarding the creation and lifecycle of digital artworks.

Atelier Angel Karagiozov is a proud member of the CAI and actively participates in its Discord community. As part of this commitment, we have adopted C2PA's open-source framework to ensure the integrity and provenance of our digital creations. By leveraging the NodeJS repository, we generate cryptographically secure manifests for each image, providing irrefutable proof of origin.

We have fully embraced a workflow that incorporates AI image generation as a creative tool. It is our conviction that artisticw conceptualization and discernment. The ability to curate and refine visual elements demands a profound understanding of art history and philosophy, cultivated through years of dedicated practice. Transparency is paramount to our ethos, and we openly acknowledge the role of AI in our creative process when applicable.

CAI's online verificatiion tool offers invaluable insights into the creation process by displaying manifest information and detailing the "ingredients" of a finished artwork. This innovative approach redefines how we perceive and appreciate visual art. To further strengthen the security and provenance of our digital assets, we collaborate with Numbers Protocol, a Web3-based platform that provides unique ID codes registered on the blockchain. Additionally, we utilize the decentralized storage system IPFS to safeguard the original image files. While traditional metadata is stripped for optimal website performance, the cryptographically signed manifests preserve essential provenance information.

Note: Atelier Angel Karagiozov is an independent art studio dedicated to creating unique works of art. When verifying our content credentials, you might encounter the message: “This Content Credential was issued by an unknown source.” This is because it was signed with a certificate not on the known certificate trusted list. This occurs because the trusted companies by C2PA/Linux Foundation are typically large organizations, and currently, small art studios like ours are not within their scope of interest. However, please rest assured that our certificate has a timestamp and is cryptographically valid. We have used the CAI open source SDK.
